Petoskey’s 15th Annual Festival on the Bay

The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce invites you to mark your calendar for the 15th Annual Festival on the Bay, August 18-19, 2017 at the Petoskey, Michigan waterfront. Every year, visitors enjoy great music inside the Entertainment Tent and a fun Children’s Area all weekend. Other activities include, the Silent Disco, a Cardboard Boat Race, Waganakasing Bay Day, The BIG Art Show, a Petting Zoo and so much more!

The 2nd Annual Bay Harbor – Boyne Pro-am Charity Golf Classic

Calling all golfers! Please reserve the date and join us for a spectacular day of golf at the Bay Harbor Golf Club to benefit the Little Traverse Bay Community! The 2nd Annual Bay Harbor – Boyne Pro-am Charity Golf Classic will be held on August 21, 2017 and we want you there with us to join in the fun and help make a difference in the lives of your neighbors in Northern Michigan. Last year’s inaugural event was a success, and with you participation, we can make this year even better.

The Great American Solar Eclipse

The eclipse will peak over the Bay Harbor area at 2:20:52 pm EDT, with the moon obscuring 72.5% of the sun.

Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair
August 22nd – 27th
The 110th annual Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair will welcome new events and old favorites to the Petoskey Fairgrounds Aug. 22 – 27, including country music star Chris Young, MXR Supercross motorcycle racing and the return of the always-popular Monster Truck Shootout!

Michigan Mountain Bike Festival
August 25th – 27th
Individual adult registration includes unlimited weekend shuttle service to trails and clinics, buffet breakfast with special guest appearance Saturday, chair lift ride for the Eagles Nest Mountain Top Happy Hour and BBQ dinner Saturday, and a complimentary ticket for the Ragbirds show at Aten Place on Saturday evening. Accommodations for the weekend are not included.

A beautiful venue, incredible cause, and a yet to be determined, significant prize purse await you! Funds raised from this event support Team Lucky Seven, Inc. and its mission of ‘Racing to Fight Brain Disease’. In the first four years $18,000 was granted to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, for the express purpose of Neurological research only. Funds have supported research in Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s and ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).

Bay Harbor Home Tour 2017

The Bay Harbor Foundation’s Bay Harbor Home Tour is a two-hour guided tour of four classic Bay Harbor homes. Participants enjoy learning about the history of Bay Harbor as they are driven through Bay Harbor on old-fashioned trolleys, and then are shown through the fabulous homes by knowledgeable and experienced guides.

Little Traverse Bay Half Marathon and 10k Walk/Run

Join us next autumn for the fifth annual LittleTraverse Half Marathon and 10K– a point-to-point adventure like no other around Little Traverse Bay. What sets this race apart? An incredible course (FAST, flat and fun) with big-race logistics and a small-town feel.
