Summer Events

Summer is here! From car shows to art festivals, Bay Harbor is the small town with the big activities list. Some you won’t want to miss below.

In-Water Boat Show

As one of Northern Michigan’s most beloved events, this is one you won’t want to miss. Taking place over Father’s Day weekend, make Dad’s day as you view over 80 of the finest examples in watercraft, from mega yachts to pleasure boats. For the kids, there will even be a helicopter that’s on site, an inflatable skill course with slide, and an appearance by a Michigan stilt walker!

Vintage Car & Boat Show

Hosted by the Bay Harbor Foundation, travel back in time as you view the cars and boats of yesteryear at the Vintage Car & Boat Festival! This “rolling museum” takes place on June 21st through the 22nd down Main Street at Bay Harbor, and consists of the famed car parade. Everyone looks forward to seeing the automobiles in their glory, and they celebrate them with an awards ceremony later in the day.

20th Annual Bay Harbor Arts Festival

When July 26th and 27th come around, everyone in Northern Michigan gets ready for the big art festival that’s coming to town! Main Street and the Marina Lawn will be packed with tents featuring paintings, sculptures, and pieces by artists from around the block to around the globe! There will be live music, dance performances, speed painting, and a green market for those in search of handmade soap, jewelry, food mixes, and more!
